I did have pictures of the other sock that I make Libby, but the camera ate them, along with a bunch of pictures I took down in Tucson... but these are the Wool/Soy booties that I made her. They are really thick and warm and soft! What more can you ask for?
the other ones were a self patterning yarn, really pretty, and washable wool blend, warm and practical... One more pair on the needles, the smallest set I've done so far, and I really like them!
They are so soft and the stitches are so small... had to pull out almost a complete sock, I was on the toe and turned it right side out to fit it, and noticed that I had dropped a decrease stitch in the heel, so out it came... ( I did try and fix it, but I don't have the expertise....)
Socks can be so addictive! I already have another pair ready to go....
I have some beautiful Sea Cell and wool that I bought on Etsy that is going to make a really beautiful pair of socks, for me! seller-http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5088619
I have this wonderful pattern called "Columbine Vine" that is an open work lace pattern, and it looks so pretty in the Sea Cell, it's variegated, pale yellow to bright, and lavender to light purple... a touch of spring green and it would have been African Violets for sure!
So many projects, so little time!
I took two pictures of my Columbine socks and added them to the post!
