Chalk-o-Lot 2008 Flagstaff

Every Labor Day week end we head up the hill and attend the chalk-a-Lot at the Art in the Park festival in Flagstaff. The event is put on by a great local artist, David Grandon, of the Grandon Gallery on Leroux. Here is an article on this years events:

This years T-Shirt, I have a collection going... I'm thinking that they would make a great quilt!

Really detailed and beautiful colors, she was originally only going to use just blue, it was just awesome!
I think this was Steve's? I think he won first place too!
TB's drumming circle... before he was done, I thought he was drawing a guy drawing on the sidewalk... he did a great job!
I loved this one! I think it would make a great T-shirt!

I can't wait till next year, I already have a design, but I say that every year and I alwasy so something different! I am thinking of doing a mini chalk fest at the block party this year in November. I think it would be a lot of fun!
